Baden-Baden, Germany 7 contributions 3 helpful votes. Fantastic short trip. For a long weekend my husband and I went with our children of 4 and 2 years old to stay at this hotel.

To make sure our children had breakfast and dinner every night at the same time without waiting too long we used the half board facility. The food was surprisingly well and diverse.

We loved the swimming facility and the indoor play room for the children. The staff was very friendly and we were very happy with the housekeepers who came in every day to make the room nice.

The large room was wonderful. It even had an extra room that accommodated two persons. The master bedroom had a large bed where we could sleep all four of us when necessary.

It even had room for a baby bed for our two year old. The view over the valley was great. Moreover the room had a small kitchen.

The area is also beautiful for short walks in the forest as we went to a large playground nearby the hotel. The hotel across also had a great playground outside with a small petfarm where we could come play.

Its a very quiet area and if you drive around it keeps very quiet. You can enjoy the views. Breakfast is very good.

If you want to cook in your room and use the cupboards you can ask the key at the reception to open it since they are closed.

There was no coffee machine. Wifi worked fine. Willingen is a nice cosy town and have many restaurants. You can visit several lakes at 1hour distance from the hotel.

There you can swim, hire boats or get on the boat to go around the lake. If you arrive put your car direct in front of rhe entrance, Because in the hall there is a trolley which you can use to put your luggage on free of charge.
